Top Pick Food Blogger : Laura Wright First Mess

The First Mess food blog was one of my first discoveries when I started tapping into Bloglovin.

There are so many great recipes out there but Laura Wright’s First Mess is my top pick of the week .

Here are just a few of the recipes I have tried and highly recommend :

Wild Ginger Green Smoothie with Coconut Water

The absolute best smoothie ever. Wholesome ingredients and super simple to make . I don’t always like “green”  smoothies but this one is fantastic !

Sticky Ginger Tempeh with Coconut rice

Mine tasted better than they looked!

This recipe is so easy . I whipped it up in less than a half hour . Added some mango and cashews on top to give it a splash of colour and made up a green salad to accompany it .

Will be including the pink grapefruit vinaigrette in next week’s Full of Goodness : Wanna Know What’s In It ? section 🙂

Super Savoury Veggie, Hemp & Millet Nuggets

These little gems are so good . I wish I’d had this recipe when my kids were growing up . Way better than chicken nuggets from Macdonald’s and really really easy to make !

Savoury Veggie Hemp and Millet Nuggets

Vegan Spinach Artichoke Pizza

I added some roasted tomatoes to give it a splash of colour  …..delicious !

Vegan-rhubarb-strawberry-pie

I really wanted to try this but ran out of time ….it looks amazing .

I could go on and on about how great this food blog is but try checking it out for yourselves! I guarantee you won’t be disappointed .

  1. Can’t believe you’ve tried all these recipes. How do you do it?? If I got to just one every six months I’d consider myself adventuresome. I’m going to try the artichoke pizza one for sure. Still waiting for the First Mess cookbook from my local bookstore; on order. xxxoooB
