
Dear family , friends and followers
When I set out on my quest to bring joy to others during a global pandemic , I honestly believed that my personal struggles with COVID were in the rear view mirror. Heading into the new year I felt hopeful and excited about what the future had in store. I planned to hit the ground running , making up for lost time .
As the universe would have it , not everything always goes according to plan.
Today as I reflect on my words written December 21, 2020
“ It is a time to let go of what is not needed anymore and celebrate the power of faith that our dreams and affirmations will come into manifestation “ I realize now that in many ways my journey had only just begun
I recently read an article about the meaning of winter solstice ,
and only wish I had read this sooner…
“let the energies of new life and inspiration build slowly within you and by spring you’ll be bursting with new energy and ideas. This is the nature of things… the cycles and rhythms of personal growth and change, as you consistently nurture yourself with compassion, allowing for rest and reflection, great joy will be your harvest in 2021”.
Well there you go …..
Although I have struggled physically and mentally these past months I am grateful for the many life lessons this experience has taught me. Rest is not a sign of weakness and is the very thing that can make us strong again . Recovery from an illness takes patience , faith and perseverance . I do believe that I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel
