Pure Intention : Commitment to Self

Freedom is not the absence of commitments, but the ability to choose – and commit myself to – what is best for me” Paolo Coelho

I’m going to let you in on a secret. I already did my 3 day detox cleanse and guess what ??

I FEEL AMAZING 🙂

I went cold turkey with no caffeine or alcohol and didn’t even have a headache. It’s not that 3 days is that long but, along with the restricted diet,no social media or television it was challenging enough! By the third day I found I was less hungry with very few cravings for anything. I felt content and peaceful. In fact, I really got into it.

I can’t imagine how I would feel after 21 days !

I must confess that I did have one matcha latte on day 3 but that’s only because there was a power outage in my neighborhood and, the local coffee shop does not do Golden Milk !

Also, because I went skiing a few times, I allowed myself a small piece of a protein bar at lunch time. No sense starving myself ! raw-hemp-protein-bars

I loved my evenings the most. A short meditation at around 5:30pm, supper by 6:00pm, a short walk to help with digestion, a small cup of golden milk, half hour of yin yoga, a hot bath, journaling and bed.

I slept like a baby 🙂

The key to successful completion with as little cheating as possible is, commitment to self.

Believe that you are worth it .

PS I will be sharing the program this weekend but you have all the recipes to choose from so get started on that shopping list !

When you are out purchasing your ingredients, be sure to pick up a bag of lemons – organic if possible .
